Starting when The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild launches on March 3, 2017, players will be able to purchase an Expansion Pass for $19.99, granting access to two new sets of downloadable content for the game when they become available later in 2017. Immediately upon pre-purchase or purchase of the Expansion Pass, three new treasure chests will appear in the game’s Great Plateau area. One of these treasure chests will contain a shirt with a Nintendo Switch logo that Link can wear during his adventure, exclusive to the Expansion Pass. The other two will deliver useful items. The first content pack is scheduled to launch this summer and will include the addition of a Cave of Trials challenge, a new hard mode, and a new feature for the in-game map. The second content pack will launch in Holiday 2017, and adds new challenges that will let players enjoy a new dungeon and a new original story. The Expansion Pass will be available for both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U versions of the game and are identical. Content packs cannot be purchased individually.

1.　The Champions’ Ballad

A mysterious voice beckons Link to challenge the Divine Beast Tamer’s Trials. He must now prove himself by defeating enemies using the One-Hit Obliterator, conquering new Shrines, challenging a full dungeon, and overcoming many trials along the way. Once all challenges and trials have been bested, Link will obtain a new power known as the Master Cycle Zero!

Additionally, the bard Kass is traveling Hyrule to complete the unfinished song his teacher left behind. As Link and Kass chase their respective goals, Kass will share new original songs he wrote capturing lost memories of the four Champions and Zelda, previously unknown to Link. But that unfinished song… What could it be?

*To play The Champions’ Ballad, you must first complete the Main Quest to free the four Divine Beasts.

Items honoring the legacy of The Legend of Zelda series will be hidden in 9 treasure chests scattered across Hyrule, including the Island Lobster Shirt, Ravio’s Hood, Zant’s Helmet,

3.　Ancient Horse Gear

The Ancient Bridle will increase a horse’s number of spurs while equipped. The Ancient Saddle will allow you to call your horse no matter how far away they are.

Both of these items will appear in treasure chests somewhere in Hyrule.

Japanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro, who played the voice of main character Samanosuke in the original game, also joined the project as a guest creator. The Japanese voices have been newly recorded, and the brand new soundtrack promises to be even more spectacular than the original.

In an attempt to unify Japan, Yoshimoto Imagawa’s army departed Suruga for the capital. But during their encampment at Dengaku Gorge in Owari Prefecture, Imagawa’s destiny changed forever. With only 2,000 soldiers, Nobunaga Oda raided the Imagawa camp. This encounter is known worldwide as the Battle of Okehazama.

From atop a nearby hill, a young man named Samanosuke Mitsuhide Akechi watched this scene unfold. Samanosuke, who refused the beckoning of renowned warlords and traveled as he liked, was the nephew of Mitsuhide Akechi, who would one day be the leader of the rebellion at Honnoji.

It was only a year later that soldiers and servants began mysteriously disappearing at Inabayama Castle, the residence of Yoshitatsu Saito. Yoshitatsu’s younger sister, Princess Yuki, sent Samanosuke a letter detailing these troubling incidents. Upon receiving her letter, Samanosuke rushed to Inabayama Castle.

However, Samanosuke was not prepared for his enemy. After a rough encounter with the demons, the ogre clan granted Samanosuke a powerful and mysterious gauntlet that enabled him to grow stronger with every demon he killed…
