- Ecu plug in direct mount, no need to make refit, only need to set it with speed change for the gear indicator to progamming the right gear number.

Installation:
- Find the RED, 4-pole male diagnostic connector (DLC), usually near the ECU box. It may have a removable cap and may be partially covered by black tape.
- Remove the cap and connect the GFYSHIP plug.
- Route the cable to the mounting location.
- Peel off the green plastic from the back of the unit, and mount the display.
- Secure the cable with the cable ties supplied.

Note:
For the convenience of installation, we did not connect the connector to the plastic connector when it was shipped.
Some Kawasaki motorcycles do not need to use the plastic connectors we provide, need to use the original motorcycle’s plastic connector. Please note that this is not a product issue and will not affect the installation of the product. Such as: Z750 2007-2009, Z1000 2007-2009
Installation:
1. Find the 4-pole diagnostic connector (also called as KDS) under the seat, near the ECU module (Black, Grey, or semi-transparent plug).
2. Normally it has a removable semi-transparent cap or ?dummy? plug (without wires) attached to it. The connector may be partially covered by black tape.
Note: You may find TWO of this connector on your bike. In this case, try both connectors, but only one of them will supply data to the GFY-K01. It will not harm your bike if you connect the GFY-K01 to the wrong plug first.
3. Detach the cover (cap) from the plug and connect the GFYSHIP plug.
4. Route the cable to the mounting location along the frame. Peel the green plastic off from the back of the unit, and mount the display.
5. Secure the cable with the cable ties supplied, ensuring that the steering movement is not impaired by the cable.
Setup:
GFY-K01 SERIES does not need to be set. After the connection is completed, the motorcycle will be started and the GFY-K01 will automatically read the data of the gear position. If the meter displays ?F?, it means that your connection method is wrong. Please re-connect after resetting.
Your motorcycle is not equipped with Gear Position Sensor, therefore determining and displaying the gear in use is only possible when the engine is running and the clutch is fully released.
